Mike And Matt Taste Milam & Greene Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon

A few weeks ago, Milam & Greene had a tasting here in Louisville for their latest release – a Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon. This Bourbon was contract distilled for Milam & Greene at Bardstown Bourbon Company. Back when Milam & Greene was formed, they were still building their distillery in Texas and wanted to start distilling as soon as possible, so they contract distilled at Bardstown Bourbon Company. They used their own mash bill and yeast in making this whiskey. They are also aging it in Kentucky. This makes it a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Bottled-in-Bond. I received a bottle of this Bourbon when Rosemary and I attended their release event. Matt and I sat down and tasted it the other day and here are our tasting notes.

Milam & Greene Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon

Proof: 100

Age: Four Years Old

Taste:

Finish:

I would pair this Bourbon with a cigar that has lots of vanilla and cedar spice in he smoke. I would reach for a NUB Habano cigar.
