This Bourbon is made at the Chattanooga Distillery in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Rosemary and I visited there in 2019 while on a trip on the American Queen Steamboat. We found their whiskey to be very good. They are a small distillery but they take a lot of pride in what they make. I expect that this bottle has older whiskey than the two year old age statement indicates. Matt and I sat down and tasted a bottle that I picked up at Westport Whiskey & Wine the other day and here are our tasting notes.
Chattanooga Bourbon Whiskey

Age: Two Years Old
Nose:
- Mike: Vanilla, dates, a note of citrus, baking spices and oak wood.
- Matt: Vanilla, molasses and brown sugar with raisins and oak wood.
Taste:
- Mike: Vanilla, cherries and dates with cinnamon, nutmeg spices, and oak wood. Tasted with a dried cranberry and the vanilla and cinnamon are enhanced. Tasted with a pecan and a note of chocolate comes out to join the party.
- Matt: Vanilla and molasses with raisins and oak wood. The dried cranberry added brown sugar to the flavor. The pecan added some cardamom spice and a hint of citrus.
Finish:
- Mike: Medium long and dry with oak and spice. The dried cranberry added some lingering vanilla sweetness to the finish. The pecan made the finish very long with a lot of oak and lingering chocolate.
- Matt: Medium long with oak and lingering dark fruit flavors. The dried cranberry made the finish shorter and sweeter with more dark fruit. The pecan made the finish longer with oak, brown sugar and cardamom spice.
I would pair this Bourbon with a cigar that has rich vanilla and cedar spice in the smoke. I would reach for a NUB Habano wrapper cigar.
